5. Sourav Ganguly:
Former India captain and one of the greatest left-handers to play for India Sourav Ganguly played some remarkable innings for team India in his era. The left-handed batter during his Asia Cup run scored 13 sixes in the 13 matches he played, though under his captaincy India couldn’t lift the trophy for once, but undoubtedly he was one of the batters who provided strength to the top and middle over whenever he batted.

At Number 4 of the most number of sixes in the Asia Cup, another left-handed batter from India, Suresh Raina, is on the list. He was a complete package for India: an elegant batter who knew when to shift gear during the match, a phenomenal fielder, and sometimes an option for the team as an off spinner. The left-handed batter hit 18 maximums in the 13 matches he played for the team in the Asia Cup.
3. Sanath Jayasuriya:
Former Sri Lanka’s opener terrorized every bowler in his era, as once he started, he didn’t back himself in destructing the bowling line-up of the opposition. The left-handed batter is the highest run scorer in the Asia Cup since its beginning. During his Asia Cup run, he played 25 matches and hit 23 sixes, the third most by any batter in the Asia Cup.

Shahid Afridi, who was popularly known as “Boom Boom Afridi” because of his maximum hitting capabilities, is at number 2 in the list of the players with most number of sixes in the continental event. Before his retirement, he was leading the chart in terms of sixes hit in the Asia Cup, but after his retirement, the list is now led by another Indian batter, Shahid Afridi, who, as a middle order batter for Pakistan, hit 26 sixes in the 23 matches he played.

Popularly known as Hitman, he clearly stands by the name; whenever he roared with his bat, he lightened the stadium with boundaries and sixes, and in the ongoing 16th edition, he is expected to increase his maximums numbers.
