On Day 2 of the first test match against West Indies, India’s captain Rohit Sharma managed to get himself on the list of elite cricketers as the batter now became the second to score more than 3500 runs in all the formats of international cricket. He is second only to India’s great batter and former captain Virat Kohli to do this. He has so far scored 3540 runs in test cricket, 9825 runs in ODI, and 3853 runs in T20I. Virat Kohli has so far scored 8479 runs in test cricket and 12898 runs in ODI. He is the only batsman so far to cross 4000 runs in T20I; he has scored 4008 runs in T20I.
