What Jasprit Bumrah Said About His Retirement From T20I?

India’s triumphant squad returned to their homeland yesterday, and cricket fans stormed everywhere from Airports to the Ceremonial venue to celebrate the victory with the national team. A victory Parade was scheduled for the champions in Mumbai, and lakhs of cricket fans stormed the way from the NCPA to Wankhede Stadium and celebrated India’s victory at the T20 World Cup 2024 after winning the T20 World Cup three Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirements from the T20Is, Is Jasprit Bumrah the next in the row to announce his retirement form the T20Is. India’s ace bowler answered the question during the victory celebration of the Indian team at Wankhede Stadium.

“Retirement is a long way, I have just started and I am happy with my performance and the question remains far in the future.”

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma lauds Jasprit Bumrah for his immense contribution with the ball during the T20 World Cup as the bowler played an impactful role in the final of the tournament where South Africa was reaching closer to the victory but Heinrich Klaasen’s wicket by Hardik Pandya followed by two economical overs by Jasprit Bumrah in which he conceded only 6 runs helped India in making a solid comeback and after last over thriller India secured a seven runs victory against South Africa.

“As fans in the stadium, we all were thinking that the game was getting out of our control. But what Jasprit did in the final five overs was truly special. Bumrah repeatedly brought our team back into the tournament. We are fortunate to have him playing for us. Please join me in giving Bumrah a huge round of applause for his outstanding efforts,”
