Chelsea FC got a huge blow just before the Premier League got back again as Lavia is out for the Rest of the Season

Read about Romeo Lavia's injury and about how long he is going to be out from the Chelsea Squad and whether he will be able to play this season.

The Premier League is once again going to resume after the international break but for Chelsea FC the bad news comes with that as their new signing, Romeo Lavia, will be out injured for the rest of the season.

It will be a huge problem for the manager of Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino because right now the club is in the 10th position, their worst standing in the league, and they will play against Burnley. The team needs to keep winning from now if they wanna finish above 8-7th place because now they can not even get in the Top 5 to qualify for the Europa League.

Lavia opened up with his Instagram post and caption saying sorry to the Chelsea fans and that he would love to come back soon to help his team. “Hi Chelsea family. As you may know and despite my countless efforts, I will be missing the remainder of the season. This has been a frustrating season for me, not being able to help my team-mates. I love this squad, this badge and being on the pitch more than anything. Trust that I have given my all every day to get back. Thank you for the love, support and critics because they all affect me positively and keep me going. I can’t wait to give it back and share many special moments together. See you soon.” Said by Romeo Lavia

Chelsea signed Lavia in the summer of 2022-2023 from Southampton for a £53 million ($67m) move and Liverpool wanted to sign him too but in the end, it was Lavia who decided to choose Chelsea over Liverpool.

Lavia picked up a thigh injury in the Crystal Palace fixture that made him out for a long time and when he came back in December he played for just 32 minutes after picking up another ankle injury that left him now sidelined for the rest of the season.
