The Chelsea hierarchy is reportedly not rushing into sacking manager Mauricio Pochettino despite the team’s current 12th position in the Premier League following a 2-0 defeat against Everton. Sources indicate that Pochettino is viewed as part of a “long-term project” at Stamford Bridge, and the club is willing to give him time to address on-field issues and balance the underperforming squad.

Despite the initial target of securing a top-four finish at the beginning of the 2023-24 campaign, Chelsea’s inconsistent performances and poor away form have raised concerns. Pochettino’s side has won just five out of 16 Premier League games, conceding 26 goals.
