Football Transfer News Today: Karim Benzema Back To Lyon? Almiron To Al-Shabah And Emerson Roya Deal !

Al-Nassr signed Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur for 20 million euros and Lyon are in transfer talk with Al-Ittihad for Benzema.

Football clubs have begun to make moves with the transfer deadline fast approaching. So far, it has been a slow transfer window, with only Tottenham Hotspur making significant moves. However, Jadon Sancho’s loan deal has been completed, and he has already provided two assists in his first match for Dortmund.

Lyon will move for their ex-player Karim Benzema to bring him back to the club where his career took off as Benzema is unhappy in the Saudi Pro League alongside many other players. He left the club in 2009 and then became one of the greatest strikers of Real Madrid, scoring 354 goals in 648 matches. Then he moved to Al-Ittihad in 2023, but since joining, he has not felt at home, which is why many clubs, like Arsenal and Chelsea, are still looking to sign him as a striker.

Newcastle United is open to talk about Miguel Almiron’s transfer talk, and Al-Shabab penned down the details to sign him, which came out as a surprising transfer for a young, talented baller like Almiron, who failed to find his last season’s form in Newcastle United.

Newcastle United is looking to raise funds for the summer transfer because many main team players like Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes, and Callum Wilson are in talks to move to other clubs.

Al-Nassr signed Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur for about £20m to join Ronaldo, who recently won the Maradona Award for being the top scorer of 2023, scoring 54 goals in 59 matches at the age of 38.

The club is expected to become more active in the next few days as West Ham is leading the race to sign Kalvin Phillips on loan from Manchester City. Wolves and Fulham are also pursuing a deal for Armando Broja, who had a difficult season with Chelsea. However, Chelsea is reportedly asking for around 40 million euros for the striker.
