Mbappe Confirmed That He Will Leave PSG At End Of Season
The Mbappe saga is still going on, but one thing is already confirmed: Kylian Mbappe will leave the PSG club in the summer and most probably go to be in Real Madrid, who wanted Mbappe over the last two seasons but have not able to sign him due to his huge transfer fee.
At the start of the season, PSG kept Mbappe in the reserve squad, which made many fans, and even when starting a few League 1 matches, Mbappe was seen on the bench, which was a negative move by the PSG management.
PSG brought Lionel Messi and Neymar to support Mbappe and make a new Galacticos squad but failed to do so as PSG was not able to win the UEFA Champions League. Last season, Neymar went to Al-Hilal to play in the Saudi Pro League, and Lionel Messi went to American club Inter Miami.
Mbappe won five League 1 titles with PSG and scored 243 goals in 290 games to become the all-time top scorer for the club. Before joining PSG, Mbappe was on loan with the French title side in 2017, and after he impressed them, the club signed him for 180m euros (£165.7m).
Kylian Mbappe also refused the world-record offer of £259m from the Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal because he is more interested in signing for Real Madrid, but they are also interested in Erling Haaland, which is a plan B.
Real Madrid can not sign both players because of Financial Fair Play rules because both players will exceed the 200m dollars mark. However, there have been some rumors going on that if Madrid fails to sign Mbappe, then he might go to Arsenal or Liverpool, which are the top contenders.
