Manchester United 2-1 Luton Town: Hojlund scored twice to save United

Manchester United is still in a hunt to finish in the Top Four in the league table after Rasmus Hojlund’s two amazing early goals that gave United three crucial points against the energetic Luton team that dominated the match. However, the English pop singer Harry Styles also appeared in the football stands to support his favorite club, Manchester United.

The match started with an amazing Hojlund solo goal when Luton town defender Bell was not able to clear the ball, and then Hojlund drove the ball to score the first goal of the match in under 44 seconds to slot his sixth consecutive league game goal to make himself the youngest player to score six goals in a row in Premier League. He is just 21 years and 272 days old before him, Joe Willock.

The second goal came in the 7th minute of the match when Garnacho gave an amazing assist to Hojlund to score his second goal of the match, but soon after that, it was Carlton Morris who scored the first goal for Luton Town to bring them in the match.

The match went on with high intensity, but neither team gave much space to the striker, and the keeper of both teams did a great job to keep the level the same, but in the 90+4th minute, Ross Barkley hit the bar, which saved the day for the Manchester United team.

One of the best players in the match was Kobbie Mainoo, who looked very calm and composed during the whole match. He won nine duels in the match to show his skills of defending and to show that age is just a number because to give that amazing performance as an 18-year-old defensive midfielder really tells about the character of the players. The Arsenal Football Club legend and famous football commentator Ian Wright was so impressed with Mainoo play that he wants him in the England team for the next match.

Kobbie Mainoo has to be in the next England squad. Such maturity in chaotic conditions that we’ve not seen from a England player in a long time. Impressed every time I watch him.
