Real Madrid is looking for an attacking wingback for the 2024 season as they showed their interest in Reece James, who has been considered one of the best full-backs right now in the world, but the only problem going on with him is that he is started to pick injury time to time which making him lose time to shine on the pitch as recently in the first match of the premier for Chelsea he picked up Injury after returning back to the club in a long time.
It is getting hard for him not to be injured during the match which is one of the reasons why Chelsea never let him play the full 90 minutes of the match because his body is not able to cope with the need which every footballer should give in the 90 minutes. He was recently given the captain arm band for the Chelsea team but unfortunately had to pull out of the Liverpool match in the 70+ minute, and now it is going to take him more than a month to recover from the hamstring injury that he suffered.
Real Madrid is monitoring his status, and if the time is right, then surely the Madrid side is going to go all out for him to be their fullback in the next season. But Real Madrid also needs to rethink it because the last time they signed a player from Chelsea, Eden Hazard, turned out to be their worst signing ever because the player kept on getting injured and only played 43 matches for the Madrid side in his 4 years of time and later Madrid decided not to extend the contract because of his injury concern.
It is not going to be an easy task to sign Reece James from Chelsea, but if the club is not able to give a strong performance and fails to qualify for the Champions League, then the player might be willing to go to the side that has 5 UEFA Champions League title.
