The EX-Barcelona star defender Dani Alves is being prosecuted for rape in Barcelona city and ordered to pay €150k
The Brazilian defender Dani Alves is being charged to pay €150k for sexually assaulting a 23-year-old lady in the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona city on December 30th.
The Barcelona Court got much evidence to find Alves accused of rape, and now on August 2nd, 2023. He needs to appear in court, and their judge will give his statement about the case. The judge will also be going to tell what types of penalties Alves is going to get for his sexual assault incident.
Dani Alves’s ex-wife Dinora Santana and children appealed to the court for his bail, which the court denied. It is such a low-grade act by the former Barcelona star that he is trying to use his ex-wife and children to bail him out because of his own high-rated crime like rape.
The prison sentence can go up to 10 years, and right now court also ordered the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Catalonia Psychology unit to take a Psychological examination to know the victim’s mental health state and to see if there is no damage mentally.
Alves has been in prison since January 20, 2023, and will not get bail until the case trial is completed. It is such a shameful thing to do for a big star like him, who used to be many young player’s idol, and doing this kind of act is surely going to hurt his fans and also put shame on his family forever, even if they don’t live with him.
The victim women’s told the police about the incident in which Alves took her into a private room and harassed her, and when her friends came to know, they talked to him. In reply, Alves said it was consensual, and she agreed to do acts in the toilet. This is a lie because, in CCTV footage, it was quite clear that Alves was forcing the young lady.
