Tottenham agreed €100 million bid from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane; Orban is Spur’s Striker target!

Harry Kane deal is done

Harry Kane is close to joining Bayern Munich in a stunning €100 million transfer from Tottenham. The prolific striker, who scored 33 goals in his best season for Spurs in 2017/18, has agreed personal terms with the German giants and is undergoing a medical. He will wear the iconic number 9 shirt at Bayern, following the likes of Gerd Müller, Robert Lewandowski, and Jürgen Klinsmann.

Kane had been looking for a new challenge after spending his entire career at Tottenham, where he failed to win any trophies despite being their all-time leading scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances. He is married to his childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland, and they have three children together. He is the 2nd all-time highest scorer in the Premier League.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was reluctant to sell Kane, but he eventually gave in to his request after Bayern made a huge bid. The transfer is expected to be made official soon, ending Kane’s 17-year spell with Spurs. He will now aim to win more silverware with Bayern, who have dominated the Bundesliga for the last nine years and are among the top contenders for the Champions League.

Tottenham have several striker targets to replace Kane, and they hope to sign one before the transfer window closes. One of their main targets is Gift Orban, who plays for the Belgian club Gent. Orban is a Nigerian international who was in amazing form last season, scoring 20 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions. He joined Gent in January from Norwegian club Stabæk, where he scored 19 goals in 24 games and was named Young Player of the Year in the First Division. He is considered to be one of the best young players in the world and is known for his speed, strength, and finishing inside the box.

Orban has a contract with Gent until 2027, but he has a release clause of €40 million, which Tottenham are willing to pay. Orban has said that his dream is to play in the Premier League, and he could be the perfect replacement for Kane at Tottenham.
