Angad Bisht Won The Round One Of The Road To UFC To Qualify For Semi-Finals

Angad Bisht becomes the first Indian fighter among the three selected for the Road to UFC season 3 happening in Shanghai, China, to register a victory in round one of the event. Before Angad Bisht fought two Indian female fighters, Priya Sharma and Kiran Singh, who fought at the Octagon but failed to win the fights. All hopes of the Indian MMA community were on flyweight fighter Angad Bisht, who was to fight Philippines fighter John Dave Almanza in Episode 3 of the event. The fighter from the Philippines was promoted to the next round when his opponent, Toki Matsui, missed weight in round one of the event.
