UFC lightweight Dan Hooker will face Justin Gaethje at UFC 313 in March and prior fighting the former Interim lightweight champ, the New Zealand’s native has given some of the best stand-up fights in the lightweight division and there is no doubt that he is one of the best strikers in the lightweight division on the other hand, Justin Gaethje has bombs in his hands and former champ Khabib Nurmagomedov got the taste of it during his fight with the “Highlight” and later got praises from the undefeated fighter. Both fighters are absolute killers in the Octagon and fans are excited to see the war between these two.
UFC booked them for a 5-round co-main event at UFC 313 and in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani when it was asked by the host about the reason behind making it a 5-round fight, “Hangman”, shared his honest take by saying that the UFC wants to see someone dead in the cage.
“I just think the UFC wants to see someone die. I think they want a finish. They want this fight, as well, I feel like for the fans, as well, they want to see someone go down. They want to see blood. They want to see rounds four and five… I’m happy to oblige for money.”

Justin Gaethje has been out from the Octagon since UFC 300, where Max Holloway knocked him out with seconds remaining to the final bell. The former BMF champ got two opportunities to grab the lightweight title, but he failed to capitalize and was submitted by his opponents in the fight. It will be exciting to see whether he could get a third run toward getting a title shot after winning his upcoming fight or lose it to get down on the lightweight rankings.
