Did Belal Muhammad Never Win Any Fight By Submission Or TKO/KO Before UFC 315?

Belal Muhammad

The reigning Welterweight champ Belal Muhammad, has been trolled by MMA fans on his UFC record so far, for being too cautious to get a victory by finishing his opponents in fact, former UFC featherweight champ Ilia Topuria trolled Belal Muhammad multiple times for not finishing any opponents yet in the UFC but is it actually true. Is Belal Muhammad yet to get a win by TKO or submission? Well, that’s not the case as the reigning Welterweight champ hasn’t reached the belt without getting a finish in his 11 fights.

Belal Muhammad had finished Sean Brady back in 2022 to get his 8th consecutive win in the UFC. Before Sean Brady he had a submission victory over Takashi Sato in 2019. So, it is clear that he had finishes in the UFC but his streak of unanimous decision sidelined his ability to finish the fight.

AT UFC 315, he will defend his title against the Australian Jack Della Maddalena, who is on an 8-fight win streak. Will the Australian be his kryptonite, snatch the gold in the main event at Bell Centre, Montreal, or succumb to Belal’s pressure? It remains to be seen.

Belal Muhammad has a clear plan for Jack Della Maddalen to get his 3rd finish in the UFC, and here is what he said before UFC 315.

“Second round, he’s going to come out and shoot a takedown on me. I’m going to sprawl, then I’m going to look at him and laugh. Then I’m going to look at DC [Daniel Cormier] and do the Max Holloway, ‘I’m the best boxer in the UFC’. Then I’m going to hit him with a couple more hands. Then, he’s not going to know what to do again, so he’s going to shoot another single leg. I’m going to turn, throw him off the fence, hit him with a body shot. He’s going to drop. I’m going to look at him, point to him, tell him to stand up. The ref’s going to tell me like, ‘Yo, we need action here’. Then I’m going to faint the jab to the body and go overhand and then he’s going to drop.”
