UFC CEO Dana White and Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh have joined hands to form a new Boxing League. Turki Alalshikh, who is known for his greatest boxing match-ups and delivering exciting boxing fights to fans all over the world with his latest collaboration with the UFC head honcho Dana White, has ignited hopes in combat sports fans all around the world to see the boxing-MMA crossovers finally but to their dismay, Dana White has rejected any chances of such crossovers in the future despite co-owning a boxing league.

In a recent interview with The Pat McAfee Show, when asked about the crossovers, Dana White remained adamant about his decision to run these two combat sports separately.

”No, never. I’m sure there are guys that want to box, but I literally don’t want to see any of that. We’ll keep the boxers in boxing, and the MMA guys in MMA.”

Alex Pereira’s Dreams To Fight Oleksandr Usyk Are Crushed?

Among many UFC fighters, reigning UFC Light Heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is no exception. The fighter has always shown interest in fighting boxing heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk. In his recent press conference, Alex Pereira reiterated that he wants to fight Usyk, but it is up to the UFC whether the organization allows it to happen in the future.

”A fight with Dricus [Du Plessis at 205 pounds] or Jon Jones at heavyweight, or boxing Usyk. These are things that are in my mind, and I think these three options are possible. It doesn’t depend on me, I don’t have that control. Whatever the UFC says I have to do, I’ll do.”
