Undefeated Featherweight Fighter Movsar Evloev Wants To Fight In February After UFC 310

At UFC 310 the Movsar Evloev maintained his undefeated record by winning the bout against former Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling. Movsar Evloev in his UFC career has 9 fights so far and defeated rising contenders in his division extending his record to 19-0. The fighter’s resume deserved to be considered in getting a title shot as he defeated contenders like Diego Lopes and Dan Ige in his rise. During the post-fight media interaction the undefeated fighter expressed his take on getting a title fight, the featherweight told media that even if UFC wants to give him 100 fight before the title shot he is ready to fight all of them to become the champion.

“If (Dana White is) thinking I don’t deserve the title, just give me another fight. I will keep winning, even to 100-0. And then maybe they will think about a title shot for me. I think I deserve the title shot. If not, just give me another fighter. I’m not going to wait for another year to fight again. Just two months maybe and I am ready to fight.

Movsar Evloev’s hunger to become the UFC featherweight champ is on another level. Just after his UFC 310, he posted on his X handle that he is willing to fight in February 2025 as well. He requested Dana White to set him up for the February event.

Reigning featherweight champ Ilia Topuria and Movsar Evloev made their UFC debuts in almost the same time frame. The former now has the belt, and the latter is still waiting to be considered for the title picture. Ilia built himself to catch people’s attention and finished most of his fights, whereas Movsar still has to finish his UFC career.
