“Likely do that fight in the US” ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong Is Looking To Book This “Big Fight” For US Fans
ONE Championship has never failed to give its fans what they want, whether it’s about the mixed-rules fight between the flyweight Muay Thai champion and superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon and ONE flyweight MMA champion Demetrious Johnson or giving MMA bantamweight champion Fabricio Andrade to fight Jonathan Haggerty for the kickboxing gold. ONE has never disappointed their fans, and recently CEO Chatri Sityodtong revealed that they are planning to book a huge fight between ONE two combat sports world champion Jonathan Haggerty and ONE kickboxing flyweight champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the US fans when ONE makes his return to the US.
ONE CEO at the pre-fight press conference in Doha, Qatar, said that a huge fight between Haggerty and Superlek is on his mind, and hopefully that will happen on US soil. In the organization’s debut on US soil in Denver, Colorado fighters entertained the fans over there, with Demetrious Johnson ending the trilogy fight with a win over Adriano Moraes.
We will likely do that fight in the US as a way to introduce the level of strikers on our roster.”
Chatri Sityodtong said
Chatri Sityodtong is looking to make the next US event a blast, as they are looking for more striking fights. Last time, the event was more MMA-based, and it is highly likely that more Muay Thai bouts will happen in the next event.
“American fans will be shocked, mesmerised, thrilled, and blown away when they witness striking at the highest levels in the world.”
