ONE Championship is going to the Middle East for its debut event in Qatar. ONE 166 is scheduled to happen on March 1, 2024, and some exciting fights are lined up for the event, with two-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin headlining the main event. He is going to fight for his third weight division title against Reinier de Ridder, who is the reigning ONE middleweight champion. If the Russian fighter Anatoly Malykhin pulls a victory in the fight on March 1, then he will create history in the ONE championship as the Russian will become the first fighter to hold MMA belts in three different weight classes.
Back in 2022, Anatoly Malykhin defeated Reinier de Ridder to become the light heavyweight champion, and it was a chance for “The Dutch Knight” to avenge his loss. Moreover, there are three title rematches aligned for ONE 166.
