Former middleweight champion Sean Strickland’s unhinged attitude helped him create a separate fan base among the fighting community, and this time, he unleashed himself on Khamzat Chimaev, whom he called a “scammer” and a “Wh*re” during the UFC 312 media day. “Tarzan” accused the “Borz” of fleeing Chechnya first to escape Ramzan Kadyrov(head of the Chechen Republic) but later returned to accept gifts from the same man. Here’s what Sean Strickland said about the fighter.
“He goes back to Chechnya and he goes back to Chechnya because somebody wants to buy him a G-Wagon and he’s like, ‘Oh yeah! I’ll be that wh*re. I’ll f**king do it. I’ll bend the knee for you, man. I like f**king G-Wagons!’ And then what happens? The leash gets way too tight. The leash gets way too tight, and you know what? I think the U.S. government looks at him like a terrorist now.”

Strickland after calling the fighter a coward accused of him being a “Scammer” due to the involvement of the fighter in a crypto scam. Khamzat Chimaev promoted a crypto last year whose value dips after 24 hours causing his fans lose their money.
“Now he’s hiding out… And now what does he do? He has a Bitcoin f**king scam and he scams all of his fans… So yeah, Chimaev, you can fight. You can fight. You’ve got a beard. But let history record it as you sir, are a whore. You fled a country, you went back, and you got buddy-buddy with a dictator and you fled again. It doesn’t matter how good of a fighter you are, you are and will always be a f**king whore.”
He added
Sean Strickland is going to get another shot at the middleweight title at UFC 312 after losing it at UFC 297 to the reigning champ, Dricus du Plessis. It would be exciting to see whether he could get the belt on his waist back on 8 February 2025.
