Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has reportedly gifted the Zimbabwean MMA fighter Themba Gorimbo a fully furnished house in Miami City. The reason for such a humble gesture from the superstar was to support the rising MMA fighter get a place to live as Themba Gorimbo doesn’t have any place to live in the USA. The fighter revealed his crunched financial status before his fight at UFC Vegas 73; he had only $7 in his bank account. After his winning performance, he came out telling about his hardships and told how a friend of him helped him to survive there.
After this revelation, the MMA fighter “The Rock” proposed to help him in his need. The gesture from the superstar was taken wholeheartedly by Themba Gorimbo, who thanked him for being so generous towards him. As revealed by “The Rock” in his Instagram post, the fighter, after winning his fight, sold his MMA gear online and got $7000, which he used to build a bush pump in his village so that his village could drink clean water. Earlier, “The Rock” promised to meet him, and recently he went on to meet him at an MMA masters gym in Florida.

We’ve never met but I had to fly to Miami to look this man @thembagorimbo_mma the eyes, hug him and shake his hand. I’ve been moved & motivated by his story. He recently won his first fight in the @UFC. He had $7 bucks in his bank account when he won. He sleeps on a couch in the gym. After the fight, he sold his fight gear (trunks & gloves) on line and made $7,000. Instead of using the money to find a place to live, he built a bush pump so his village back in Zimbabwe can have clean water.
He never asked me for anything, but I just wanted to help the guy out. $7 Bucks ya know.
