Tony Ferguson Is As Confident As Ever, Believes He Scared Khabib Nurmagomedov

Tony Ferguson recently called Khabib a scared b***h before UFC 296.

UFC 296 will headlining the UFC’s welterweight champion Leon “Rocky” Edwards and the challenger Colby “Chaos” Covington. There is no doubt that this is going to be a great fight, and fans couldn’t have asked for more, but one more interesting fight is on the cards: “El Cucuy” Tony Ferguson and Paddy Pimblett. Tony Ferguson, who was once named “boogeyman,” is now slowly destroying the reputation he built among his fans as the fighter is on a six-fight losing streak, the last of which came against Bobby Green, where he was choked out by Green in the third round of the fight.

Tony Ferguson in his prime days was a fearful fighter, and hardly anyone didn’t want to see him fight the GOAT of the lightweight division, the unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov (29-0), but whenever UFC tried to lock their fight, something happened to either of the fighters that made the matchup one of the cursed fights in UFC history, failing to get to the conclusion five times. Tony Ferguson recently, reflecting back on the Khabib matchup, confidently said that Khabib was scared to fight him.

He’s still my b—ch. I scared the f—k out of that Dagestani guy. Nothing against anybody else in the country. Just met a dude over here today, took a picture, but I scared the death out of him. Not saying that’s a war between our religions and everything like that, but I got that guy’s f—king number and he knows that he loses, he can’t go back home

Ferguson told ESPN.

Tony Ferguson will be seen against British prospect Paddy Pimblett at UFC 296, and his fans definitely want to see him win this time after losing six straight bouts.
