There has been a lot of back and forth on social media between these two, and the Russian fighter seemed more confident about beating the champ. However, Alex Pereira, known for his calm nature on social media, challenged Ankalaev to bet $200,000 for charity if the Dagestani is so confident in his skills, to which Ankalaev hasn’t replied yet. It will be exciting to see whether Ankalaev will walk the talk at the main event or succumb like other top-light heavyweights against the Brazilian.
In the co-main event, Justin Gaethje will fight Rafael Fiziev in a rematch after the earlier scheduled opponent Dan Hooker pulled out due to a hand injury. A violent stand-up battle, like the first fight, is expected from these two killers.
