From the expression of Alexander Volkanovski, it is evident that he suspects some trouble after the verbal altercation between the two middleweights. Alexander Volkanovski is still waiting for his next fight to be announced and most likely it would be a title rematch against the reigning featherweight champ Ilia Topuria who defeated him at UFC 298 and then the Spaniard went on to defend it against Alexander’s old rival Max Holloway at UFC 308. Volkanovski and Topuria had a face off post UFC 308 main event. So, far the rematch is not official but it is expected to happen in 2025.
Meanwhile, the former featherweight champ is active on his YouTube channel, doing Q&A sessions and fight previews. However, it is difficult to keep him away from fighting, as the former champ is also preparing for his next fight, and once it is announced, he will start a proper training camp for that.
