UFC 307, headlining a light heavyweight bout between champion Alex Pereira and challenger Khalil Rountree Jr, had a decent pre-fight press conference. Though the main event fighters don’t share “bad blood,” that isn’t the same with the co-main event fighters where Raquel Pennington is going to defend her Bantamweight title against Julianna Pena and the two went back and forth during press conference, as expected, but the highlight of the press conference is the heated exchange between Pena and newly inducted Kayla Harrison who is ready to take on the champion of the bout after UFC 307.

Kayla Harrison is on the main card of the UFC 307, where she will face Ketlen Vieira in a Bantamweight bout, and when it was asked from the fighter at the press conference about what her plans are after the bout, she replied

“Fill in the blank. It doesn’t matter. It’s only a matter of time. I’m the uncrowned queen. First Saturday night, I smash Ketlen and then I come for my title. Enjoy it while you can ladies.”

Kayla Harrison said

The comments didn’t go well with Julianna Pena, who replied by targeting Harrison about her leaving the PFL because she was scared to face a Brazilian opponent.

“I know violence. Kayla just got here to the scene… As far as I’m concerned, the last time she faced a Brazilian, she came running into the UFC.”

Julianna Pena said

Kayla Harrison was quick to boast her professional MMA record of (17-1) and compared that to the Julianna’s record so far, Pena strike back by questioning the opponents she faced to get that record.

“It’s easy to be 17-1 when you’re fighting freaking tomato cans.”

Pena replied

Not Just with Julianna Pena, there was heated back and forth between Kayla Harrison against her opponent Ketlen Vieira and champion Raquel Pennington.
