Shavkat Rakhmonov Questioned Belal Muhammad’s Memory In Their War Of Words

Shavkat Rakhmonov hits at Welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, questioning his memory.

UFC welterweight contender Shavkat Rakhmonov is one of those fighters who has proven himself on the UFC roster by winning all six of his fights so far. Clearly, he deserves to get a title shot against Belal Muhammad. A few days back, Shavkat Rakhmonov revealed that the UFC offered him a title fight against Belal Muhammad, but the latter declined the fight due to timing issues. Belal Muhammad claimed the Welterweight title at UFC 304 by defeating the former champ Leon Edwards via unanimous decision and now the champion thinks that the “Nomad” has to fight one more time before getting the title shot.

Shavkat Rakhmonov last fought in December 2023 at UFC 296, Submitting Stephen Thompson in round two, but he is yet to fight in 2024, and that is what was pointed out by the reigning Welterweight champion claiming that the Nomad is an inactive fighter and hasn’t fought in 2024 plus he wants him to fight former champ Kamaru Usman before getting the title shot. Shavkat fired back at the champ, questioning the memory of Belal Muhammad, who remained inactive for nearly 14 months before fighting Leon Edwards for the title.

Belal Muhammad didn’t let the contender have the last laugh in their war of words and questioned him, who was tweeting on the contender’s behalf, as the Kazakh fighter doesn’t speak or understand English.

The two will settle their score in the Octagon as Belal revealed that UFC is pushing him to fight Shavkat next. So, MMA fans will see a fight between these two soon.
