The 31-year-old Mackenzie Dern will try to avenge the 2019 defeat against Amanda Ribas, as the latter defeated the former by a unanimous decision. Mackenzie Dern, since then, has gone (14-5) in her professional career, with her recent victory coming against Loopy Godinez in August 2024.
Number 8th ranked strawweight fighter Amanda Ribas is coming into this fight as a favorite to win despite losing her last fight against Rose Namanujnas in March 2024. In her last 5 fights, the fighter lost 3 bouts and won two. It would be exciting to see whose hand will be raised after the bout on January 11.
