UP Yoddhas vs Jaipur Pink Panthers: Up Yoddhas demolished Jaipur Pink Panthers in the eliminator 1 of the Pro Kabaddi League season 11 to reach the tournament semi-finals. It was a dominant display by UP Yoddhas as they didn’t let the two-time champions even make a comeback in the match.
The first raid of the match went in favor of the Jaipur Pink Panthers, where Arjun Deshwal scored a bonus point to get his team on board. It was Up Yoddhas’ Bhavani Rajput who returned the favor by scoring two points in his raid. Bharat Hooda then tackled Arjun Deshwal to break the backbone of Jaipur’s raiding department, and Jaipur’s defense had no answer for Bhavani Rajput, who kept scoring points and brought his team into the lead.
In the 7th minute of the first half, UP Yoddhas inflicted the first all-out on Jaipur. Before the end of the first half, UP Yoddhas once again washed Jaipur off the mat to increase their lead. At the end of the first half, the scoreline was 23-8, with Yoddhas leading the board by 15 points.
In the second half’s first raid, Jaipur Pink Panthers got the first tackle point of the night as the combined defense of Surjeet Singh and Reza blocked Gagan Gowda from reaching the mid-line. Despite a good start, the same story was repeated in the second half, and Arjun Deshwal was tackled again. From there, UP Yoddhas inflicted another all-out to make it impossible for Jaipur to return.
The final whistle brought joy to the face of UP Yoddhas as they defeated Jaipur to reach the season’s semi-finals.
