Right-handed batter Sanju Samson flopped during the T20I series against the West Indies, scoring only 12, 7, and 13 in the three T20I matches when he got the chance to bat. Sanju Samson usually batted at number 5 or 6 during the limited overs series, which is not a natural spot to bat on as the right-handed batter most of the time bats at number 3 or 4, which was also one of the reasons for his flop during the series. Abhishek Nayar opined that the batter should play up in the order, and if India wanted him to bat down the order, then it was better to select Rinku Singh as he will be the best to bat on this lower in the batting order.
“I believe if you want to utilize Sanju Samson more, bat him at No. 3 because that is his number. He is used to that and he is successful there, or else don’t play him

He added
India lost to West Indies in the last T20I match of the series as the Caribbeans outclassed the Indian team in every aspect. While bowling, West Indies restricted India batters to 165 in 20 overs, and while chasing the target of 166 runs, Indian bowlers only managed to take 2 wickets. West Indies, without much effort, reached the target and won the match by 8 wickets, winning the series against India after losing the ODI and Test series.
