The IPL 2025 Auction will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and 1,574 players have registered for the mega auction. There will be 1,165 Indian players on the list and 409 Overseas players who will look to find their names on the team sheet.
The list will have 1,224 uncapped players who have not played any international matches for their own country, and it gives them good chances, as we saw in the past that many uncapped players did well in the IPL and then were selected for their country team.
There will be 320 capped players, 48 of whom will be Indian capped players, the most since the start of the IPL. Players like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, and many more players are going to be on the list, which might make it harder for the team because they will have many options. There are also players like James Anderson, who registered himself at the 2cr base price.
30 players from the Associate Nations are also being registered for the IPL 2025 which includes player from Canada, Italy, Scotland and many others who might get their chance to be in the team.
965 uncapped Indian players have registered for the IPL 2025, and 104 uncapped international players have also registered for the auction. The 10 IPL team will look to fill 25 players maximum in their squad.
