Michael Venom Page is a rising welterweight in the UFC and has definitely gained attention after defeating Sharaputin Magomedov at UFC Fight Night in Saudi Arabia. The Brit showed his distance-managed skills and lethal striking ability in the co-main event to give Shara “Bullet” his first professional loss. MVP is looking for his next opponent in the Welterweight division. He has called out the former Interim UFC Welterweight champion Colby Covington, saying he has an urge to punch “Chaos” in the face and finish him in a highlight reel knockout. Now, replying to MVP’s call-out, Colby Covington said that the former Bellator champ is irrelevant in the Welterweight division.
No one can keep my name out of their mouth in this divison, or even in the UFC. They get woke points to say my name and say some threatening things towards me. So, I don’t know. I don’t pay attention to anything he does. He’s another irrelevant bum.”

After slamming MVP for calling him out, Colby Covington didn’t deny the possibility of fighting the latter in the Octagon and shared his game plan if UFC books him to fight the Brit in a five-round bout. Colby said that he would shoot takedowns after takedowns to drown MVP in deep waters and punch a hole in MVP’s face.
If it’s a five round fight I’m taking the life out of him. I’m gonna take him down and drown him. I gonna punch a hole through his face. I don’t like it when people say mean things about me. So, if the fight happens and that what UFC wants, then let’s do it.”
