New Zealand announced ODI World Cup 2023 squad, Kane Williamson to lead.

Cricket fans around the world are all eagerly waiting for the ICC World Cup 2023 which is going to be commenced on October 5th, 2023, ten of the best cricket teams will be looking to put a great performance for their nations to claim the ICC trophy, squads of the most of the teams are already announced including India, there are some teams who are yet to announce the squad, New Zealand recently announced their squad for the marquee tournament and Kane Williamson will be seen leading the team again in the World Cup, last year the Kiwis fell just a bit short against England in the final to lift their maiden ICC ODI title but this time they would be looking for the revenge against England by defeating them in the first match on October 5th.
A surprise addition New Zealand made to their 15-member squad is Rachin Ravindra. The 23-year-old all-rounder has been a good performer for the team with the white ball, which is why selectors chose him for the World Cup 2023 squad. Being a left-arm spin bowler is something that all teams are looking for to add a surprising factor to their bowling department. All-rounder Jimmy Neesham and left-arm bowler Trent Boult are also included in the squad, though both of them are not centrally contracted players.
Jimmy Neesham’s World Cup 2019 performance in the final match has earned him the spot. Kane Williamson is still not fully recovered from the knee injury, but he will captain the team in the World Cup. It is going to be his fourth World Cup so far, and for Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, and Will Young, it is going to be the first one.
