England’s Player Rehan Ahmed Stopped At Rajkot Airport Due To Visa Issues

England’s team has arrived back in India for the third test match of the series; however, England’s young spinner, Rehan Ahmed, was stopped at the airport by the immigration officer as the player was carrying the wrong visa and was the only one who faced visa issues with England’s team. Earlier, Shoaib Bashir faced visa issues before joining England’s team for the first test match, due to which he wasn’t included in the playing XI for the first match. The spinner joined his team in the second test match.

There was some technical issue with the visa of Rehan Ahmed due to which he was stopped at the airport.

England’s team took some time off after the second test match and went to Abu Dhabi to divert their minds off the defeat they got in the second test match at Visakhapatnam. After enjoying their time overseas, England’s team landed directly at Rajkot airport via a chartered flight. Rehan Ahmed was allowed to join the team after a temporary visa was issued to the bowler on the assurance of BCCI and ECB, as they had committed that the visa issue would be resolved in 24 hours.

The Indian team received a blow when it was confirmed that Virat Kohli wouldn’t be playing in any of the test matches in the series. After that, KL Rahul, who was supposed to be joining the team in the third test match, was ruled out due to fitness concerns. India is lacking experience in the middle-order batting line-up, with the likes of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul missing, though some positive rumors are coming out as Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the second test match, will be joining the team in the third test match.
