Mushfiqur Rahim is the right-handed Bangladeshi batter who comes to bat in the middle order for the Bangladesh team and is the fifth-highest run scorer in the history of the Asia Cup with 830 runs in 25 matches. He is the only Bangladeshi player on the Top 5 list. He scored his highest score against Sri Lanka back in 2018, when the right-handed batter smashed 144 runs in a single match against Sri Lankan bowlers.

India’s right-handed batter and the current captain of the Indian team is the second Indian player to be included in this list. Former Sri Lanka captain and one of the most remarkable batters in the world, Kumar Sangakkara, is at number 2 on the list with 1075 runs. He is the second Sri Lankan left-handed batter on the list of the most runs scored by batters in the Asia Cup. It took him 24 matches to score this many runs in the continental event.
