The BCCI officially announced Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of the Indian Cricket Team on Tuesday after BCCI secretary Jay Shah confirmed on X(formerly known as Twitter) media platform.

“It is with immense pleasure that I welcome Mr @GautamGambhir as the new Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team. Modern-day cricket has evolved rapidly, and Gautam has witnessed this changing landscape up close,” Shah wrote on X

After Team India won the T20 World Cup under the guidance and leadership of the cricketing Legend Rahul Dravid, it is time to welcome the new face as the head coach of Team India, who recently won the IPL 2024 Trophy with Kolkata Knight Riders and the man who played the most important innings in 2007 and 2011 title-winning campaign Gautam Gambhir to now give India some more ICC titles and success.
