Mikel Arteta is looking to sign at least one midfielder in the winter transfer after some injury issues going on with the Arsenal team that dipped their form at the end of 2023 and at the start of 2024.

A few names came out that Arsenal is interested in bidding on before the January window closes. The first name that came out is Martin Zubimendi, who has been one of the best players for Real Sociedad. Coming is an amazing academy player who played for the main team since the 2020/21 season, and at the age of 24, he is one of the best players Sociedad has had.

Bayern Munich is another team that is keeping the tab on Zubimendi, which is why it is not going to be a cheap signing for Arteta, as they are likely to activate his release clause, which will cost them around 53 million euros. The second target for Arsenal is Leicester City Kiernan-Dewsbury Hall, who is in good form for the Foxes in the Championship, scoring 9 goals and giving 9 assists to help his team stay at the top to once again be in the Premier League, where they belong and won the title in 2015.

Arsenal is also saving the money to make a big move on Victor Osimhen in the summer, who told Napoli that he will leave the club in the summer and also said that he would love to play in the Premier League. There have also been talks about Tomas Partey’s inclusion in the swap deal with Zubimendi of Real Sociedad, who might be interested in taking Partey as a part of the deal to keep their midfield area in good contention.

Arteta needs to hurry up with his thoughts, and so does the club transfer management team because there are only around 70 hours left in the window.
