Napoli Wants to Sign Jadon Sancho But Manchester United wants more money for him

Napoli wants to sign Jadon Sancho

The 2025/26 Transfer market is heating up, and many clubs have already made moves, but the current Serie A champions Napoli want to sign Jadon Sancho as their winger.

Napoli has already signed Kevin de Bruyne as a free transfer, which is an amazing deal for the club because securing a world-class midfielder like De Bruyne could have depleted their transfer budget. Still, they got it for free as Manchester City refused to extend the contract, which was quite shocking for the fans.

Manchester United has a high demand for Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho was on loan to Chelsea FC, where he struggled to perform, and as a result, Chelsea did not exercise the buy clause for Sancho. On the other hand, when Napoli tried to sign Sancho, who was no use to Manchester United, they wanted a high fee for someone who would likely sit on the bench all season if not sold.

Sancho remains notable as one of the world’s great young talents in football. Still, he was in Dortmund from 17/18 to 20/21, in which he played 158 matches, scoring 53 goals and giving 67 assists, making him one of the best wingers at the time, but then after he joined the Man United, his performance went way down, and in 83 matches he just scored 12 goals and given six assists.

Luca Marianucci is another new centre-back that Napoli signed this summer transfer window, and there are many loaned players returning to the club. However, in the recent event, AC Milan is also interested in bringing Jadon Sancho, but they might have to pay more than Napoli.

It is going to be a tough challenge for Jadon Sancho, but he himself wants to be out of the Manchester United squad, which finished 15th in the league, the lowest position they have ever achieved in the Premier League.
