The Jaipur Pink Panthers made history when they took the Pro Kabaddi League by storm and won the inaugural season back in 2014. Following this success, the team began to become even more popular due to its association with celebrity owners. Unfortunately, the Panthers’ performance decreased during Season 2 and 3 of PKL and they began to search for something that would return them to their once impressive form. The team finally got something going in Season 4 as they qualified for playoffs, only to be defeated in the final by Patna Pirates. Undoubtedly, these changes could not have been achieved without the hard work of raiders like Jasvir Singh and defenders like Ran Singh who led the side to such heights.
GS Entertainment Worldwide, headed by Mr. Bunty Walia and his son Juspreet Singh Walia, have taken the Jaipur Pink Panthers to new heights. Just last December, Amazon Prime Video released Sons of the Soil a docu-series that follows their journey in the Pro Kabaddi League’s seventh season. Fans can now witness first-hand the intensity of this team and its manager as they work hard to reach their goals. The Panthers are no strangers to victory and look poised to make another strong run at the title this year with Walia’s guidance. All eyes will be on them come game time to see if GS Entertainment’s managerial savvy can take them all the way up the leaderboard!
The Jaipur Pink Panthers made history on 17 December 2022 when they defeated the Puneri Paltan 33-29 in the final, becoming only the second team after Patna Pirates to win more than one title in the Pro Kabaddi League. It had been 8 long years since their first title, yet victory was all the sweeter for the Panthers. There were many memorable moments throughout the game, but perhaps none more so than Arjun Deshwal being named Most Valuable Player of the Season and talisman Ankush holding the record for most tackle points (89) in Season 9. It was a landmark day that Panther’s fans would never forget
