Former UFC light heavyweight champ Jiri Prochazka has a tough test to pass this weekend when he faces Jamahal Hill at UFC 311. After getting knocked out by Alex Pereira twice, many opines that this will be the last chance for the Czech Republic MMA fighter to gain fans’ confidence and give a statement that he still has the spirit to claim the title again. Speaking on the same to MMA Junkie, Jiri Prochazka looked confident that he can get another fight against “Poatan” after winning against Jamahal Hill.
“Everything what I say, what I’m saying, I mean seriously. So nothing special but I believe I made improvements of my style, in life. In everything that I can face Alex Pereira a third time. Sorry, I believe in that. I really believe that I can be the champion and I’m going for that, to be a champion again. No more words.”

Jamahal Hill, on the other hand, is eyeing the same, though he got knocked out only once by the reigning champ, “Sweet Dreams.” He is not getting over the defeat and constantly targets Alex Pereira. The recent UFC PI incident, when the two engaged in a heated altercation with the reigning champ throwing gloves toward Hill, inviting him to settle differences in the cage, is one of many moments where Jamahal Hill’s frustration became visible.
Alex Pereira who knocked out both of the fighters is most likely to face number one contender Magomed Ankalaev next and if he gets a win in that he is planning to move to heavyweight to get a shot at third title in the UFC. Though his next fight isn’t scheduled yet, MMA analyst thinks that it will be against Magomed Ankalaev against whom he will be defending his title for the third time.
