Former UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman slams Conor McGregor for his controversial remarks on him. Conor McGregor lives up to his reputation of making controversial remarks about whoever he gets his hands on. Recently, during a live stream on Duelbits, when fans asked him about his opinion on Kamaru Usman, the former two-division world champion took a jibe at the “Nigerian Nightmare” by calling the latter a bum.

”Kamaru usman? F**k him. F**k Kamaru Usman, he’s a bum. F**k about Usman yeah.”

Now, Kamaru Usman replied to “The Notorious,” saying that he can’t call the former a bum as he never stated anything ill about Conor, even in the latter’s worst phase with lawsuits. He added to that by saying that he allowed the latter to fight him in the 170 lbs twice, but Conor ducked him. In his recent conversation on the Pound for Pound podcast with former champion Henry Cejudo, he said this.

”You can’t say [I’m a bum], Conor. I didn’t kick him while he was down. He’s had run-ins with the law, he’s had back-to-back incidents and situations but you never heard me sit there and kick the man while he was down. There needs to be some level of respect here, because, at the end of the day, that’s what this sport is all about
