In a thrilling showdown at the Syed Modi International Badminton Championship 2023, the Indian women’s doubles pair, Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa, secured the runner-up position after a closely contested final match. The duo faced formidable opponents in Japan’s Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi.

Meanwhile, in the women’s singles final, Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara secured a win against Line Hojmark of Kjaersfeldt from Denmark. Okuhara’s skill and precision on the court led her to a triumphant performance, closing the match with a score of 21-19, 21-16.
