SRH vs GT: Gujarat Titans won the 19th match of the IPL 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets to reach second place in the points table.
After winning the toss, Gujarat Titans decided to bowl first, and Mohammed Siraj rose to the occasion by dismissing Travis Head in the final ball of the first over. Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma batted cautiously, but once again, Siraj trapped Abhishek Sharma to take his wicket. Ishan Kishan was next as SRH were 3 down for 50 runs. Heinrich Klaasen hit a few shots, but GT’s bowlers looked unstoppable. Siraj picked 4 wickets in the match to restrict SRH to 152 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Chasing the target of 153 runs, GT, lost Sai Sudharshan early in the powerplay. Jos Buttler was the next to get dismissed. SRH bowlers were on fire, but skipper Shubman Gill kept his calm and built the partnership with Washington Sundar for the 3rd wicket. Unfortunately, Washington Sundar couldn’t complete his fifty as he got caught at 49 runs. Shubman Gill hit his fifty. Impact substitute Sherfane Rutherford rushed his team to the target, ending it in 16.4 overs.

Bowlers are game-changers, especially in this format. Lot of people talk about T20s, batting and hitting, but we think matches are won by bowlers and that is why a lot of emphasis on bowlers (in this franchise).
