Chasing the target of 210 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave their team an explosive start. Yashasvi Jaiswal started the attack, and the youngster on the other end followed his footsteps and launched an attack from his end. Both looked unstoppable; meanwhile, the 14-year-old scored his fifty in just 17 deliveries, which was the fastest fifty in the IPL 2025. Both took the score to 87 runs in 6 overs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, after scoring his fifty, scored his maiden IPL ton in just 35 deliveries and ensured a victory for his team. It was a 166 runs partnership for the first wicket as Prasidh Krishna bowled Suryavanshi on 101 runs, but that didn’t stop the inevitable victory of Rajasthan Royals as in 15.5 overs, RR reached the target to win the match by 8 wickets.

We could have done a couple of things better, but it’s easy to say those things when sitting out, some chances came out way and we didn’t take them. I sat out because I felt a back spasm, didn’t want to take a chance. Next match is at Ahmedabad, we’ve had a good run there. It was Suryavanshi’s day, his hitting was tremendous and he made full use of it.”
