The Decision

The court fined Mathias Pogba €20,000 for his role in the attempted extortion of €13 million from Paul Pogba in 2022. Mathias will serve his one-year sentence at home with an electronic monitoring device. Additionally, five of Paul’s childhood friends were sentenced to prison terms ranging from four to eight years for their involvement in the extortion and kidnapping.
