Kabaddi competition organized by RSS, 8 teams participated

A Kabaddi competition was organized by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Buxar Nagar, where teams from eight localities of the city participated.

The city of Buxar was buzzing with excitement as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh organized a Kabaddi competition, with teams from eight localities participating in the thrilling event. Among the fierce competitors, the team of Keshavpuram Basti emerged as the champions, defeating their opponents from Gaurishankar Basti. The program was graced by the presence of Manoj Kumar, Head of Physical Education, North East Zone, Municipal Association, Om Prakash Verma, and Prant Karyavah, Rajendra Prasad, who inaugurated the event by offering flowers to the picture of Bharat Mata. As the players and spectators cheered their hearts out, volunteers and common citizens also joined in by unfurling the saffron flag and offering their prayers. It was truly a sight to behold as the city came together in the spirit of sportsmanship and brotherhood.

The Kabaddi competition was a thrilling event, with a total of seven intense matches held across two quotas. But it was the final match that really brought the stadium to life. The teams from Keshavpuram Basti and Gaurishankar Basti faced off, and the electric atmosphere was palpable. As the game played out, the crowds chanted everything from “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” to “Jai Shri Ram” and “Vande Mataram.” And when the dust finally settled, it was Keshavpuram who emerged victorious, winning by four points. All the players of the winning team were presented with consolation prizes, but the cherry on top was a special picture of Bharat Mata and organ clothes presented to the champions. It was a thrilling event from start to finish, and a testament to the fiery spirit of Kabaddi.
