At the start of the second half, Puneri Paltan’s Mohit Goyat started finding his rhythm and picked up points to close the gap, but Dabang Delhi’s Ashu Malik retaliated with a Super raid where he got 5 touch points that increased Delhi’s lead in the game. Pune didn’t give up and tackled Ashu in the next raid to gain two points for the super tackle. Soon, Delhi’s lead was decreased, but Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar kept scoring points in raids, which led to the final minutes all-out of Puneri Paltan. In the last seconds of the game, Pune tried to bring down the points deficit, but they only managed to get 26 points as Delhi won by 4 points with the scoreline standing at 30-26.
